DRC Steel Return Idlers are a commonly used roller style installed on many large material bulk handling conveyor systems. These conveyor systems are utilised throughout a diverse range of different and unique Australian industry sectors and are required to be supported with quality spare parts and components allowing them to nominally be run on a continuous basis.
One of the most common applications for this style of roller is for carrying the conveyor belt and product along the operating conveyor, in sections where an angled trough belt profile is not desired.
The Carry Idler in a nominal configuration can be built and supplied by DRC in a quantity of industry standard roller diameters and belt width lengths. In support of customers whom have conveyor structures with unique structural dimensions, DRC can build the roller face length, shaft overall length and shaft bracket locating features to suit customer specific roller bolt hole centre dimensions.
In further support of our customer's specific Carry Idler requirements, DRC can offer a variety of customer specified features in the construction of a requested special Carry Idler set. These alternative features can include a larger centre shaft diameter, matched heavier duty ZZC3 sealed roller bearings, labyrinth lubrication seal and FRAS dust seals to suit the specific customer shaft diameter nominated.
The steel Carry Idlers can also be supplied as a complete ready to install assembly, with the inclusion of a pair of hot dipped galvanised DRC 9000 series Flat Carry Brackets with 10mm x 14mm Across Flats shaft locking dimensions.
